IILLUSTRATION CREATION

Ages 11+

Campers will receive a variety of tips, tricks, and fundamentals for illustrating stories. Students will learn how to use storyboards and story maps to create flowing and compelling graphics and comics.

The campers will be working on activities such as: animation station where they learn to draw characters and comics, creating thumbnail sketch storyboards, exploring different mediums to draw, including; markers, watercolors, colored pencils, stamps, and pens.

Each day the campers will work on their storyboards and by the end of the week, a comic book or storybook will be created. There will be examples of comic books and picture books to inspire.

This camp cannot accommodate drop-in students.

Students are encouraged to bring a lunch and a water bottle.
