PAINTING FLOWERS with VIBRANT COLORS and ALIVENESS: spring 2027
Pat Fiorello will teach an easy and fun alla prima approach to painting flowers. Learn to simplify flower shapes, depict form through observation of light and shadow patterns, mix color and add expressive brushwork to your paintings. Let go of perfectionism and tight painting while still capturing the beauty and essence of flowers in your paintings!
(In conjunction with Petals, an immersive exhibition featuring the art of Ella Cart, Randy Siegel, and Ken Wallen.)
PERSPECTIVES FUNDAMENTALS
This basic course in perspective teaches the artist how to see and draw three dimensional objects in depth on a two dimensional surface. Artist Tom Quinn will show you how to create and use the three most common forms of perspective and it will change the way you see objects everywhere!
intuitive painting: wet & mixed media
Join Kevin in two special Tuesday sessions using water with your preferred medium (watercolor, acrylic, pen and ink) to explore Intuitive Painting. Intuitive Painting is a practice that invites you to create choices, build skills as you follow your inner impulses, trust your instincts, and learn to “see” as you develop your artwork.
