Help Glynn Visual Arts fight hunger in Glynn County!
For the 10th year in a row GVA pottery studio members have created hand-crafted bowls- “Empty Bowls” - that symbolize hunger and ultimately will raise thousands of dollars for our local food bank, Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia (SHCG).
From October 26 to November 9, local retail businesses and restaurants will partner with GVA to showcase these original artworks in a befitting tablescape that becomes part of an online auction to raise funds to feed hungry families. Each tablescape will also hold a special gift donated by the host business.
The online auction takes place October 26 - November 9. A final sale with individual bowls takes place on Saturday, November 9 at Glynn Visual Arts, 106 Island Drive, St. Simons Island.
100% of the proceeds go directly to Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia’s mission to lead the charge against food insecurity in the Coastal Georgia Region.
