One-Day winter workshop – Clouds & Reflections
INSTRUCTOR: Jennifer Broadus
MEDIUM: Oil or Acrylic
LEVEL: Intermediate to Advanced
By popular demand, this one-day workshop emphasizes the art of painting cloud formations – both daylight and sunset.
First half of the workshop we will work on cloud techniques and tricks.
The second half of the workshop focuses on successfully painting water reflections.
Several paintings will be started
Supply List:
Artist’s choice of Oil or Acrylic Paints
Paint colors should include: Cerulean Blue, Aqua Marine Blue, Paynes Grey, Titanium White and Warm White, and Orange
A selection of soft brushes including a mop brush of 1” + diameter.
2-4 primed canvases (suggest orange primed canvases) suggested sizes, 16 x 20 and 18 x 24
Paper towel and cleanup supplies
GVA will supply an easel, worktable, chair, and apron.
Box lunch will be served. Sandwich, side, and cookie.

About Jennifer Broadus:
Earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Kent State University in Painting & Illustration with minors in Photography and Art History, Ms. Broadus went on to New York to work as an art director, and later as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer in advertising and publishing.
