Becoming a truly skilled photographer takes not only practice but an eye for composition and an understanding of your camera’s capabilities, This workshop is designed for those who have some experience with photography but usually take photos using the ‘Auto’ setting on their camera. If you want to move from taking snapshots to creating powerful images, you need to learn how to use and control your camera’s exposure settings. This four class series covers. White Balance, ISO, Aperture, Shutter Speed, Lighting, Composition and some fun and creative techniques that will test your skill. In this hands-on course, students will complete exercises that will be reviewed and critiqued the following week allowing everyone to learn from both successes and mistake. If you want to take your photography to the next level, this course will show you how. A DSLR that allows you to manually change exposure settings is required.
