Celebrate the artistic achievements of Glynn County's students during the month of March at GVA!

March is National Youth Art Month! GVA is proud to collaborate with Glynn County Public Schools to promote the value of art education through inspiring creativity, engaging the community, and expanding art opportunities.

 
 

You’re Invited!

Join us for the opening reception of National Youth Art Month in the Ella & Ben Cart Classroom featuring local student artwork, Thursday March 6, 5:30p.m.- 6:30p.m. Free to the public.

Exhibition will be on view from Tuesday, March 4 - Saturday, March 29

Goals of Youth Art Month:

  • Promote the Value of Art Education: Highlight the importance of art education in developing well-rounded individuals and fostering creativity.

  • Expand Art Programs: Encourage the growth and expansion of art programs in schools and communities.

  • Engage the Community: Foster community involvement in art education through exhibitions, workshops, and other creative activities.

  • Advocate for Art Education: Increase support for art education from community members, businesses, and government officials.

  • Inspire Creativity: Encourage students of all ages to participate in creative art learning and experiences.

  • Align with National Goals: Support the goals of the National Art Education Association to improve art education at all levels.
