The two consecutive-week sessions are experiential in nature. Participants will explore a variety of techniques for color mixing through instructor’s demonstrations and then apply those methods as they are guided in the creation of their own painting. Participants will also learn about pigment characteristics, and the vocabulary of color theory. While there will be discussion, demonstration, and application of general watercolor methods the emphasis is primarily on observing and experiencing the properties of color and the interactions of pigments on paper.
