2026 GVA Open Call: With a POP!

The Glynn Visual Arts’ Exhibitions Committee is pleased to announce an Artist Level Member juried open call exhibition in June in the Portman Gallery. The exhibition theme is With a Pop. Pop art is a movement from the 20th century that reflected popular culture using irony and wit to blur the line between advertising and "real" art. GVA wants to see your interpretation of this art movement in art that "POPS off the wall." (You do not need to create pop art by definition.) Bold colors, textures, dimensional elements, etc. can all be part of your specially created artwork for this show.

Glynn Visual Arts : June 16 - July 24, 2026

• 2D and/or 3D art pieces, not to exceed 36" on any side

• All mediums and styles that adhere to the theme will be considered

**All works MUST be available for sale.**

Artists may enter a maximum of three pieces. 

Applicants must be GVA Artist Level members. 

Deadline for Submission - May 23, 2025

No entry fee.

ATTENTION: Maximum 3 entries allowed. If submitting less than 3 entries, leave fields for Entry #2 and Entry #3 blank.

IMAGE SPECIFICS: Images will be reviewed on screen. Please prepare them to be at least 1200 x 1800 pixels @ 125 dpi (up to 5MB each), smaller sizes may be submitted but may be unsuitable to be evaluated by the judges. Be sure to test them on your monitor prior to posting. File types supported include: JPG, PNG or PDF.

Please proof your submission carefully. If your work is chosen, we will use this content to create the labels for the exhibition.
