This weekly evening class will give participants -- from beginners to professionals alike -- the opportunity to learn techniques and tools in a classical approach to drawing the figure.

Each week instructor Cullen Peck will focus on a specific aspect of figure drawing such as proportion, line weight, composition, materials, light, among others. Participants will have the opportunity to use materials they are familiar with or explore new and unfamiliar materials while drawing from the live figure, and will be provided with constructive critique and observation based on individual needs and interests. The class will begin with a brief demonstration each week and then continue through short, gestural poses to mid length poses, and end in a final long pose.
