Art Supply Swap

No money, no pressure — just creativity and community!

Do you have art supplies collecting dust? Ready to find some new supplies to create with? GVA will host its first Art Supply Swap from 10:00a.m. - 1:00p.m. on Art Appreciation Day, Saturday September 6! Here’s how it works:

  • Register here to participate

  • Drop off any gently used or new art supplies you no longer need on September 3 & 4, 10a.m.-5p.m.
    NO donations will be taken on swap day so please save them for next time.
    Please make sure items are not moldy, dirty, super heavy, smelly, non-functional, or in need of repair.
    No fully finished pieces please, only supplies (Consider donating finished pieces to the Art Tag Sale happening the same day!)
    If there are a lot of small pieces, please bring them pre-packaged in bags or boxes.
    *GVA reserves the right to refuse any items*

  • Once your items are received, GVA staff and volunteers will sort and arrange items into a second-hand supply extravaganza for Saturday, September 6. Artists who donate items to the supply swap will get early access at 9a.m. on Saturday morning for “shopping.”

  • All are welcome, you do not need to donate to attend, so invite a friend! Browse what others have brought and take what inspires you. BYOB (Bring your own bags)

  • While all items will be free, bring cash and consider donating to GVA in exchange for all the great art supplies you score!

  • Items not taken will be donated or recycled by GVA.

Come out and support local artists at our Art Tag Sale. Shop original artwork, prints, hand-crafted goods, art supplies, and more at yard-sale prices! Have finished art you would like to donate? Let us know!
